Great Leaders Are Grateful

One thing I have noticed about most great leaders is they are grateful. They are grateful to have achieved success but most importantly, they are grateful to those people who help them achieve success. Part of that gratefulness includes regularly “thanking” their customers (external and internal).

See November 14 blog titled, Thank You

We recently received a newsletter from The Telephone Doctor that addresses this issue (among a few others). I like the acronym WACTEO (We Are Customers To Each Other).

Also, studies found that leaders who express appreciation are more influential, respected and happier. And best of all, positive recognition is contagious.

How many people have you thanked today? How do you thank your team for the work they do?
